Design Objectives

Design Objectives Ltd — known to consumers as docrafts — is a leading distributor of craft materials and the owner of a number of hugely popular craft brands, including Papermania, Xcut and Anita's. Our successful publishing partnership started in 2005 and now includes editorial, design and print management for the 124 page bi-monthly magazine, docrafts Creativity; filming and editing of the regular show, Creativity TV; and programming and printing of the docrafts DIGITAL designer software series.

Creativity TV
Working with Future's Multimedia team, we provide filming and editing services for the weekly online crafting show, Creativity TV, which can be viewed in the subscribers’ area of docrafts.com. The show has had fantastic viewer feedback and is going from strength-to-strength, having already covered a wealth of techniques and styles. docrafts Creativity magazine
Launched in Autumn 2007, docrafts Creativity magazine combined two existing titles: docrafts magazine and scrapbook magazine. This superb consumer title now sells 45,000 copies on a bi-monthly basis via a nationwide network of craft retailers. The magazine is headed up by DO’s Editor-in-Chief, Tina Piper, who works closely with our team to ensure the content inspires and encourages its readers to try new techniques and products.
docrafts DIGITAL designer
Working with Future's Multimedia team, we delivered the first version of the docrafts DIGITAL designer software for sale via a TV shopping channel in April 2010. The CD-ROM sold out in 48 hours. The application is a WYSYWYG editor, enabling users to place paper designs, characters, text, borders and more onscreen and print them. Further versions were released in 2010 and 2011. Visit Site
